Earth-Kind Symposium: How to make your landscape Earth-Kind

Are you interested in making your landscape more environmentally responsible? Are you interested in saving water and protecting our natural resources?  Do you want to prevent problems and pests in the landscape? Do you want to save money and time in your landscape?

Attend the “Earth-Kind Symposium: How to make your landscape Earth-Kind” on November 5th, 2011 at Myers Park and Event Center.  The program has expert speakers from Texas AgriLife Extension Service.  The hands-on teaching methods used in the program help participants see the Earth-Kind System in real life.

Cost: $60 Registration Fee, includes lunch, refreshments and resource materials

The program will be hands-on, out in the garden, so please dress for the weather!

1:30 – 2:30                      Hands-on:  Irrigation, Planting, & Mulching

2:30 – 3:00                     Waste Not: Compost and Mulch

3:00- 3:30                       Hands-on: Maintenance
